The Department of Electrical Engineering, COMSATS Institute of
Information
Technology Abbottabad warmly welcomes you to join us at the EMCOT 2009.
Like previous years, EMCOT 2009 aims to develop an environment of
academic
collaboration where institutes can exchange their expertise in their
respective fields. The program for this year’s EMCOT includes along with
the
project competition, a number of seminars, a panel discussion and talks
by
eminent scientists and academicians on cutting edge Electrical and
Electronic Engineering technologies
As in the past 6 EMCOT events, EMCOT 2009 intends to provide the students
of
Comsats as well as all other participating universities a platform to
interact with other members of their community as well as the industry.
Representatives from various industrial organizations have already been
invited and we hope that both academy and industry would benefit from
this
unique opportunity. The exhibition acts as a stage where students may
show
off their efforts and new ideas in all areas related to Electrical
systems
and Micro-controllers.
Dr. Shahid Ahmed Khan, Dean Faculty of Engineering, CIIT defined EMCOT as:
The very purpose of TechnoMoot is to promote the interaction to develop ideas and projects. The participants will feel that CIIT Abbottabad fulfills the promise of providing complete education, not only through books but with events like TechnoMoot, broadening the horizons for everyone involved.
